Have you ever…
Been so disgustingly in love with someone that something as simple as shopping for groceries feels intimate and romantic?
Or when you have to hold back a squeal when you see a picture because all your’e thinking is “I have such a cute boyfriend!”
I find myself staring at him when he talks and having to stop myself from grabbing his face and kissing him because he’s so handsome when he talks about his passions.
I can’t say his name or think about him without a stupid smile creeping on my face.
We can be laying in his bed while he plays on his xbox and I play pokemon and somehow my hand will find his for a small squeeze or a light kiss.
I can have the worst day imaginable and all it takes is a “You’re my beautiful little tulip and I hope you’re feeling better” text to make me forget all my worries.
Sometimes when we’re walking and holding hands in silence, he’ll abruptly pull me close and kiss me with a “I couldn’t resist much longer.”
When did this happen? In 14 years of knowing a boy, when did I become such a sappy little puppy dog?
This entire relationship just feels so right <33

buffy appreciation week: day 6 • favourite storyline or character development

I LOVE this storyline. There’s something about witnessing a woman who was the backbone of the entire series break down like a terrified child that makes you love them even more. It humanizes a character that had godlike abilities, near perfect coping skills, and an insanely sunny disposition. Buffy was always one of my favorite tv characters but this is where she topped everyone. She showed that even the strongest person is not immune to depression. Depression doesn’t prey on the weak. Depression prays on the people who are aware.
This is when the show went from being an adorable, quirky, sometimes cheesy 90’s vampire show, to being a show that deals with real life problems merely in a fantasy setting.
